Montgomery County Emergency Operations Center - 2026 visit

Bridgeport Fire Department personnel conducted an official visit to the Montgomery County Emergency Operations Center, where members received a detailed briefing on the training, qualifications, and professional standards required of 911 communications specialists. The delegation also learned about the broader operational structure of the Emergency Operations Center and the critical roles it plays in countywide public safety.
During the visit, attendees observed the end to end process of emergency call handling, including call intake, information verification, and the coordinated dispatch of appropriate resources such as Fire, EMS, and Police units.
